Day 2 (Wednesday) - Waterfall Valley Hut to Windermere Hut
Swimming in Lake Will. As with all swimming water along the track, it was very cold, although swimmers insisted on saying "It's beautiful!!"
The hidden waterfall at the end of the lake; a bit difficult to get a good photograph, but well worth it.

Here I am unwrapping a Mars Bar which I have solidified by placing it for 5 minutes in the cold waters of Lake Will. Barn Bluff in the background, dominates the skyline for many kilometres.

The Likely Lads
Looking down the track. Mt Ossa (highest mountain in Tasmania) is directly above the lake, Mt Pelion West is to the right, behind the leaves, and Mt Pelion East is behind the dead branch.
Swimming in Lake Windermere. The water was warmer near the surface, so we tried not to disturb the layers too much. These ladies insisted on joining us, and we were too tired to refuse.
The hut at Lake Windermere. Some of us stayed in here, some camped in tents. Because of the animals below, we had to put our packs in the hut.
